How To Remove Grease and Oil Stains from Clothes Using Goop Hand Cleaner & Stain Remover

Grease and oil are tough to remove but tackling grease is what Goop Hand Cleaner and Mom’s Goop does best. It’s simple to use. Here’s how to remove grease and oil stains from clothing with Goop.

  • Apply Goop onto the stain while the fabric is dry.

  • Squeeze or massage the Goop into the fabric.

  • Let the Goop do its magic for at least a half hour or even longer for really tough or already set-in stains.
Note: If you’re letting the Goop soak longer than a couple of hours, be sure to put the “Gooped” garments in a plastic bag. You do not want the water in Goop to evaporate. If it does, or the Goop is left on the fabric for too long, the Goop may create its own spot. If that happens, just reapply Goop, let it sit for an hour then wash again.

  • Wash as usual.

  • Before putting the garment in the dryer, check to see if the stain is gone. If some of the stain remains, reapply Goop, let it sit wrapped up overnight, and re-wash.

You’ll be able to remove serious, dried-in stains using this method. Feel free to let us know your experience with Mom’s Goop.
